Goods valued at several lakhs were crisped when a fire broke out at an automobile shop at Yousufguda in Hyderabad late on Wednesday (21st November). According to the police, the fire broke out around midnight in the SR Automobiles located at the ground floor of a building on Yousufguda main road. On being alerted by the police, firemen reached the spot and took up fire fighting operations, said a report soon after the incident.
The fire at Maharani Laxmi Bai Medical College in Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh that had tragically claimed the lives of 11 newborns has now been deemed accidental, according to a two-member investigative committee, a news report said. There were suspicions of arson raised at that time but that has been put to rest as the panel found no evidence of criminal conspiracy or negligence, NDTV reported citing sources.
A 43-year-old man died and four others sustained injuries in a fire mishap reported at Aurore Life Sciences Pvt. Ltd. in Jeedimetla as reported on 20th November. Inspector of Suraram police Bharat Kumar informed newspersons that a case would be booked against the management. “Preliminary investigation revealed that Anil Kumar, a contract worker, along with Gopichand, 30, Balram, 51, and Srinivas Reddy, 46, were working near a reactor when a flash fire injured them all at around 10.15 a.m.,” said the officer.
