A massive fire broke out at Mahaveer Ice Cream shop in Tamil Nadu's Arcot on 13th April, claiming the lives of a couple from Rajasthan. The deceased have been identified as Pavan Lal and his wife Sundari. The Arcot Town police registered a case and initiated an investigation into the incident. The cause of the fire is yet to be known and further details are awaited. The Rajasthani couple died in the fire accident in Tamil Nadu's Ranipet. Reports say the two were rushed to hospital by fire safety personnel but did not survive the severe burns despite their best efforts. “The incident has raised significant concerns among the local community, prompting questions about safety regulations and emergency preparedness in commercial establishments.
