A devastating fire engulfed a pharma company lab in Andhra Pradesh’s Ankapalle district and claimed four lives on 26th December. The blaze in unit-III of Laurus Labs Limited located at JN Pharma City, also left another person badly charred. The deceased were identified as T Rajesh Babu, R Ram Krishna, B Rambabu and M Venkata Rao and the badly burnt victim was identified as Y Satish.

It is common knowledge that various pharma firms at JNPC had been ignoring the safety norms and charges of corruption too are flying freely. This mishap opened yet another can of worms and the focus has shifted to non-compliance with basic safety measures wilfully, and criminal negligence has been called out.
